Tidal Surge in
Craster Harbour
The
pictures were taken in the late afternoon of 13th. January 2017 when
the spring tide received extra impetus from a strong north-easterly
wind. The sea was breaking over both piers and swirling up from
the North Pier to wash against the front of the houses on Dunstanburgh
Road at the top of the pier.
